STAY HEALTHY- NEED OF THE HOUR-CBSE Schools in Noida

In the present scenario, the whole world is terrified of the pandemic outbreak of corona. Even in our country, we can see the effects and accordingly the government has put lockdown for 21 days. This pandemic has not only affected the world economy but also the individuals. Now the question is how this corona started.

The disease appears to have originated from a Wuhan seafood market where wild animals, including marmots, birds, rabbits, bats and snakes, are traded illegally. Coronaviruses are known to jump from animals to humans, so it’s thought that the first people contracted it from contact with animals. An initial analysis of the virus that causes Covid-19 suggested that it was similar to viruses seen in snakes. CORONAVIRUS presents many uncertainties. The future is uncertain and that scares us. but instead of these negative thoughts, we need to cultivate a greater perspective and understanding. Learning to accept things can not only, help reduce stress it could ultimately lead to our finding a way to make things better.

At one of the CBSE Schools in Noida,  we advise our kids to strengthen themselves by improving their immune system. By doing exercises we can keep our heart and lungs healthy. Exercising and eating well will help us sleep better. If our body is relaxed, it  makes our immune system strong. The ancient Ayurveda health system propounded the importance of a balanced life, taking into consideration not only the body but also the mind and the soul. Good health achieved through proper diet, exercise and sleep helps in living longer, reduces the risk of disease and enhances energy and stamina.

Vegetarianism promotes a natural way of life. But despite its implicit message of universal love and non-violence, it has not spread, as it should have. This may be because it is usually an inward-looking habit and is best cultivated in the mind. Leading a vegetarian way of life helps the animal kingdom to coexist with man. The animals supply milk, manure and energy. This has been central to the Indian culture for thousands of years. Food and health are closely related.

The western science considers food as something to sustain only the human body, whereas the Indian science considers food as something which sustains not only the human body but also maintains the purity of heart, mind and the soul. Thus an item of food which is injurious to the mind is not considered to be fit for consumption, even if it is beneficial to the body or satisfies the taste. Indian food science gives importance to food that increases the strength of the body and its virility.

Vegetarian food provides an infinite variety of flavours, whereas non- vegetarian food has hardly any taste of its own. Non-vegetarian foods have to be seasoned with ingredients from the Vegetable kingdom to make them palatable. The food we eat, its quality, quantity, its timing and combination is of utmost importance to a healthy life. More and more people are turning to a vegetarian diet not only on ethical and humanitarian grounds but also for health and ecological reasons.

The time has come to take courage to change our habits. This way will be showing gratitude to life.  At CBSE Schools in Noida, we believe that keeping ourselves healthy by maintaining personal hygiene is important as it will help any individual in the long run. let us take a vow to follow a healthy lifestyle by eating food which not only supplements the body but also improves the immune system. Nature is giving us one chance to improve the ways to sustain ourselves in this critical time. Now the onus lies on us how to utilise this chance.  One can start it anywhere, so let’s follow the same and keep ourselves happy, energetic in these trying times.
